The blog, dubbed "Global Viewpoints on Commercial Real Estate," is produced by ARGUS Software professionals who possess unique insights into the industry.
The blog will cover a range of topics related to the global landscape for real estate investment and development, and blog visitors will have an opportunity to share their opinions on blog topics. The blog also will serve as an educational tool and provides information including industry reports and recently published books related to real estate, as well as a list of global industry events and links to industry media outlets.
The contributors are:
- Pius Leung, general manager and executive vice president for North America, will draw on his extensive experience in the global commercial real estate brokerage, investment and property management segments to provide informative blog posts. In 2005, he served as the 39th president of the CCIM Institute and the first ever president born outside the US. He is a faculty member of the CCIM Institute, NAR CIPS Network, Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and the Realtors Land Institute.
- Robert Gray, senior vice president, is responsible for the Argus Zone Collaboration Platform and for product integration and reporting. Robert joined Argus Software in 2006. His 30 years of commercial real estate experience includes portfolio analysis, acquisitions, systems development, and consulting.
- Barry Tuman, general manager and executive vice president for UK/Europe, has been involved in commercial real estate and related technologies since 1979 and was involved in the establishment of a standardized methodology for the analysis of institutional grade investment property. He is the founder TREE Software and Consulting, Inc. (treeSoft), which developed of a new generation of real estate oriented software products.
- Stephen Lowrance, vice president of product management, financial analysis, has responsibility for the direction and evolution of the industry’s standard software tools: ARGUS Valuation - DCF, ARGUS Property Budget and ARGUS Asset Management. In addition to leading ARGUS Software’s product management efforts, Stephen has held management positions at ARGUS Software Customer Support, Training and Client Services divisions.
- Melissa Securda, vice president of market research, is involved with global research focused on analyzing commercial real estate in the marketplace, as well as developing strategies for the core business and products. Prior to joining Realm, Melissa was head of Cushman & Wakefield’s Atlanta Research team where she was responsible for statistical analysis and reporting for the Atlanta market.
