HOUSTON, TX, June 19, 2008 – ARGUS Software, the leading provider of technology solutions to the commercial real estate industry, was honored with two Digie Awards from Realcomm, an organization that promotes the use of technology in the commercial real estate industry. ARGUS Software's partner, RIISnet, also won a Digie Award. 

The Digie Awards recognize the most innovative individuals and organizations in the commercial real estate industry and are designed to give credit to those who endeavor to transform the industry into a 21st century digital model, according to Realcomm.

ARGUS Software's President & CEO Mark Kingston won Realcomm's Digital Impact Award. The award honors "individuals who stand out as pioneers and leaders... those who aren't afraid to go against the grain and try new ideas, technologies and solutions."

Kingston, who was also named one of Realcomm's "Top 35 People to Watch", won the Digital Impact Award because he has: strived to set benchmarks for leadership in the Real Estate Automation marketplace; continued to act on behalf of industry initiatives such as OSCRE and vendor interoperability; and set extreme benchmarks in respect to business and personal philanthropy, according to Realcomm.

ARGUS Software's ARGUS Zone won a Digie Award for Best Use of Technology. This category focuses on those technologies that will dramatically change the way we live, work and play and ultimately the way we use space. The Best Use of Technology is awarded in four categories including: building automation, energy, general technology and real estate transaction.

ARGUS Zone, an online environment that helps make business processes more effective through the safe and secure flow of information and documents, won the "real estate transaction" category.

RIISnet, a next generation broker-driven transaction platform that provides equal and efficient access and communication between buyers and sellers of real estate and a streamlined methodology for completing real estate transactions, also won a Digie Award for Best Use of Technology in the real estate transaction category. Realcomm says RIISnet was honored for its "tenacious efforts in development of the first electronic marketplace for commercial real estate transactions."
